“Tomorrow” tells the story of Choi JunWoong, a sensitive young man who is unemployed but lacks nothing in life regardless. After a series of unfortunate events, he ends up in a coma trying to prevent someone from taking their own life. His spirit, however, leaves his body and is scouted to be the newest recruit in the Special Crisis Management Team of the Underworld. The current team is made up of only 2 people: Team Leader Gu Ryeon and Lim RyungKu. Choi JoongGil is the team leader of the Humanitarian Management Team of the Underworld and is immensely charismatic but his personality constantly clashes with Gu Ryeon because of their differing opinions on people who resort to extreme measures such as suicide. SF9’s RoWoon, Kim HeeSun, Yoon JiOn, and Lee SooHyuk will be playing the leading roles of Choi JunWoong, Gu Ryeon, Lim RyungKu, and Choi JoongGil respectively, making for a star-studded lineup of actors. Actor Yoon JiOn, who will play Lim RyungKu in the drama is known for works such as “Jirisan”, “You Are My Spring”, “Monthly Magazine Home”, “Memorist”, “Be Melodramatic”, “Mr. Sunshine” and more. He is critically acclaimed for his talent and versatility, which allows him to embody a varied range of characters and bring their sensibilities to life. Yoon JiOn’s ability to effortlessly switch between playful goofiness and a hidden, hurt disposition, renders him perfect for the role of Lim RyungKu. Lim RyungKu is 197 years old, tall, well-built, handsome, and has a complex personality. His MBTI is ISTJ, which means that he is reserved, practical, quiet, and deeply loyal. His responsible and detail-oriented nature makes him a great subordinate for Gu Ryeon. However, his habit of picking his nose undercuts his desirability.
Behind his lively and spirited facade, however, he hides a painful past that eats away at him from the inside. Lim RyungKu’s theme song in the webtoon “Tomorrow” is Oisobagi’s ‘I Miss U’ featuring Lee MinKwan.
Yoon JiOn, who plays Lim RyungKu, is 31 years old in real life, having been born on May 19, 1990. Besides being a prolific actor (he has 25 works under his belt), he is also an excellent musical theatre performer with a strong and resounding singing voice. Yoon JiOn also has a distinct sense of fashion, as seen from his posts on Instagram.
He frequently posts behind-the-scenes photos from his dramas as well, which means exclusive sneak peeks from the comfort of your screen! In addition, the actor seems to be a passionate animal and nature lover too! You can follow Yoon JiOn on Instagram and Twitter to keep up with the actor and his colourful world.
